Purchasing Card Services

Albany State University participates in an ongoing effort to streamline and simplify the purchasing process by joining with the State of Georgia in adopting the Purchasing Card as one method for making purchases.  The Purchasing Card, called the P-Card, is a Visa brand debit card used like a credit card for purchasing goods and services for the University.  For users of the P-Card, this method is a convenient and easy way to make purchases within their assigned credit limit.

New users must receive supervisory approval, Fiscal Affairs approval, complete an application, and pass a background check before receiving a Purchasing Card.
