Albany State University maintains a respected and established presence within the Southwest Georgia region. Much of that presence is is based on our commitment to the greater community. All academic curriculums are centered on the importance of giving back to the community that so richly gives to others. The University recognizes that the responsibility to educate and enlighten should not be contained within the confines of the campus environment. As a result, the community at large is often invited to engage and participate in our diverse academic cultural and enrichment based programming.
