Campus Update 7/16/20
COVID-19 Related Accommodations Requests
Employees seeking a COVID-19 related accommodation are asked to submit their ADA accommodation request by close of business (6 p.m.) on Monday, July 20, 2020. This deadline will assist the campus in planning for the delivery of instruction and essential operations this fall semester.
The university’s accommodations process addresses workplace accommodations directly related to the employee (one’s self) and their job functions. Based upon guidance from the University System of Georgia (USG), the university’s accommodation process can only be used to address COVID-19 related concerns associated with your own medical conditions and risk factors.
If you wish to seek leave related to the care of others, please refer to employee leave options provided by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) in the attachment and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
If you have questions about the above, please contact Human Resources at (229) 500-2026 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your continued dedication to following the guidelines and protocols above. They are necessary in order to keep us safe and healthy. Remember, if you have questions that were not answered above, please visit our Coronavirus Update page on the ASU website or contact your supervisor.
