How to Apply

Albany State University invites you to submit an application for admission to the graduate program of your choice. The information listed below will provide instructions and a list of all materials needed to complete an application for admission to all graduate programs offered by Albany State University. The following materials are required:

·         Graduate Application For individuals who hold a bachelor's degree or higher

·         $25 Non-refundable application fee (check or money order made payable to Albany State University)

·         Official college transcripts from ALL institutions attended (including transcripts from Albany State University)

·         Program specific supporting documents (see Program Checklist)

·         Professional recommendation letters (varies according to program of study; see Recommendation Guidelines)

·         Official and acceptable scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT). Test scores more than five years old are not acceptable. Required test varies according to program of study.

Once you submit your graduate application, ALL of the aforementioned materials must be submitted prior to the document deadline in order to process your file. Incomplete files will NOT be processed and considered for admissions. Admission decisions will only be made on complete files.
