The purpose of the Legal Assistant/Paralegal Studies program is to provide students the knowledge
and skills necessary to perform legal services under the direction of an attorney. The Legal
Assistant/Paralegal Certificate Program offers comprehensive and practical training in the
substantive areas of the law offering such courses as Real Estate Law; Wills, Trusts and Estates;
Litigation and Trial Practice; and Legal Research and Writing.
