This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to study one or more of a

broad range of current topics and applications. The topics chosen may be those that are

not covered in another course and that reflect the rapidly changing nature of this field.

Students may use a maximum of 12 hours of Special Topics in Computer Systems in a

program of study.

Development of modern criminal justice management and supervisory theory and

practices. Leadership roles, problem solving, critical thinking skills, personnel

management, hiring, retention, and assignment. Issues in management of criminal justice

agencies of all sizes.
