Internships

At Albany State University, we are committed to providing Golden Opportunities for Golden Rams through a variety of experiential learning experiences designed to prepare students for success beyond the classroom. Many of these experiences offer academic credit and allow students to gain valuable, hands-on exposure in their field of study through internships (paid and non-paid), job shadowing, project-based learning, research, service-learning, and professional networking.

 

 General Opportunities:

While paid internships are most often available during the summer semester, a wide range of experiential learning options are offered throughout the academic year. Students are encouraged to connect with the Office of Career Services regularly to explore current opportunities, receive support in building a professional resume, and get assistance with the application process. Most summer opportunities are posted between November and February, but dates vary depending of the organization. Take the next step on your Path to the Gold by turning your education into experience!
