Greek Life
There's a place for you in greek life
ASU’s fraternities and sororities are chapters within a diverse set of national organizations
that allow students to find a home away from home during their time at Albany State
University. These organizations place a strong emphasis on the principles of brotherhood/sisterhood, scholarship,
service, philanthropy, leadership development, and campus involvement.
Greek organization at Albany State University fall under one of two councils: the Council of Independent Organizations (CIO) and the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). Currently, our fraternity and sorority members have incredibly high levels of involvement
on the ASU campus and the greater Albany community.
No matter the council or organization, fraternity and sorority life is an outstanding
opportunity to make the most of your college experience.
