A major component of completing your education at Albany State and graduating on time is academic advising. The Advising Center is here to make sure you achieve your goals through continuous academic advising.
You will be assigned a personal advisor based on your major area of study or academic interests who will guide and support you from your first year of school up until graduation.
Advisors maintain close contact, monitor your academic progress and refer you to campus resources to ensure you are making the right academic choices to earn your degree.

NEW Freshman & Transfer Students: You will receive an email from academic advising in your ASU Student Email the week after you have submitted your intent to enroll. This email will contain a link to our advising portal where you can schedule your own appointment. It's important to check your ASU Student Email daily to ensure you do not miss any important messages and updates.
