      While every advising relationship is unique, there are common goals and responsibilities that guide the process.

      Advisors at ASU work to:

      • -Help students clarify their values, goals, and strengths.
      • -Support students in understanding the purpose of higher education and how it connects to their future.
      • -Provide clear and accurate information about programs, requirements, policies, and opportunities at ASU.
      • -Guide students in planning an educational path that matches their interests and abilities.
      • -Monitor student progress and provide feedback to keep them on track toward graduation.
      • -Connect students with campus resources that support their academic, career, and personal growth.

      • Registration Information for Spring 2026

      • Students Currently Enrolled at ASU for Fall 2025

      • Registration opens October 1
      • Freshman & Probation - Mandatory 1:1 appointments. You will receive an email to your student email account to schedule this appointment. 
      • Sophomore & Above in Good Standing - Will need to select a group registration to learn how to register yourself. You may schedule 1:1 with your advisor for any advising needs. Group registration invitation sent to your student email account.
      • New & Readmitted Students for Spring 2026
      • Please follow the steps in your Acceptance Letter under New Rams Checklist.
      • Registration is step 5 and schedules will be created for new and readmitted students beginning November 1 for those completed with steps 1-4. 
      • All communication will be sent to your student email account.
