About Dr. Juana Parillon
Dr. Juana Parillon is a United States Marine Corps veteran with over two decades of experience in leadership, human relations, mediation, and conflict resolution. She served as one of only 37 Equal Opportunity Advisors (EOA), where she developed training programs, conducted organizational surveys, and oversaw dispute resolutions.
In 2012, while serving as an EOA at Marine Corps Logistics Command, Dr. Parillon founded the Mentors In Action (M.I.A.) program in Albany, GA. This program allowed Marines to volunteer their time with children in primary, secondary, and post-secondary schools throughout the community. Her development and work with M.I.A. earned her the honor of receiving Albany’s Forty Under 40 Award. A highly sought-after speaker, she has delivered several keynote addresses and moderated numerous events.
In addition to her speaking engagements, Dr. Parillon is a mediator and conflict resolution consultant. She has worked with organizations in the non-profit, corporate, military, and higher-education sectors across the United States.
Dr. Parillon is also the author of several published articles and is currently working on a co-authored book and a solo project set for release in 2026. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College, a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Walden University, and a Master of Business Administration.
Despite her many accomplishments, Dr. Parillon’s work is grounded in three core leadership principles: humility strengthens us, honesty connects us, and trust bonds us. Her goal is to continue to emulate those principles and guide others while on their leadership journeys.
