Accreditation
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) www.acbsp.org (http://www.acbsp.org/) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners have reaffirmed accreditation of the business programs at Albany State University, in Albany, Georgia, (https://www.asurams.edu).
Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business
accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree
programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within
the Business Division at Albany State University meet the rigorous educational standards
established by ACBSP.
The business programs at Albany State University were first accredited by ACBSP in
1994. This marks the second time the University has been through the reaffirmation
process, required every 10 years to maintain ACBSP accreditation. “Albany State University
has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement
by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer
Dr. Steve Parscale, who will present the Certificate of Reaffirmation of Accreditation
of ACBSP Conference 2015 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, June 14.
*This accreditation is evidence that Albany State University and the College of Professional
Studies are committed to providing the highest quality business education for their
students for the next 10 years, just as they have done since 1994,” said Parscale.
