Chair's Message

Welcome to the Teacher Education program where our goal is to help candidates evolve into reflective, impactful, culturally responsive, and technologically competent practitioners. Through our cohort model, our candidates develop strong relationships with faculty, staff and others that will last a lifetime. Our candidates have the knowledge and skills to transform the instruction in the classrooms each enters.  Our mission is Transformative Education: Transforming Faculty/Staff and Candidates through Professional Development, Transforming Schools and Communities through Active Engagement, and Transforming Curriculum through Continuous Program Improvement. As such, our dedicated and diverse faculty and staff are committed to transformative education in which we endeavor to help each candidate realize his or her potential.
