Albany State University Extends Virtual Operations to Thursday, January 23
In light of ongoing weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our campus community, Albany State University will extend virtual operations to Thursday, January 23. We will monitor the weather for Friday, January 24, with the expectation to return to normal operations. Updates on any operational changes will be provided by Thursday afternoon.
- All in-person events and classes for Thursday are canceled, and courses will be held online via GeorgiaView.
- Faculty and staff will work virtually; essential staff should report as directed by their supervisors.
- Residence halls remain open; ASU Police will remain open to ensure safe campus operations. Please download the LiveSafe app to stay informed and safe.

Dining services will be available from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. with to-go options.

RAM Rush transportation is suspended; Weather pending, normal service will resume Friday.

We are actively monitoring and removing ice around campus to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
