Fall Check Out Information
ALL RESIDENCE HALL CLOSE NOVEMBER 25, 2020 AT 12 NOON. NO STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO STAY BEYOND THE CLOSING DATE AND TIME.
Policy
Express Checkout is the checkout process for Fall 2020. This process allows a resident to turn in their key and properly checkout without a scheduling appointment with an RA. With the Express Checkout process, the resident is to follow all check out and cleaning instructions. Failure to follow all check out and cleaning instructions will result in additional charges.
Procedure for Returning Students
- Clean your room and any shared spaces thoroughly and lock room doors(s).
- Pick up an Express Checkout Envelope from the Express checkout drop box in the lobby of your residence hall.
- Complete information on the Express Checkout Envelope and sign it.(PLEASE WRITE LEGIBLY) Place the key in the envelope, seal the envelope, and place the envelope in the Express checkout drop box located near the 24-hour community desk.
Failure to return the key will result in lock change charges.
Hall Management will inspect the room after the resident’s departure and look for missing items, damages and necessary cleaning. Residents will be held financially responsible for any of the aforementioned items. Residents do not have the option to appeal damage charges with an Express Checkout. Damages, missing items, and/or cleaning that no one claims responsibility for will be divided equally among those assigned to the room/apartment.
Spring 2021 Move-In Dates on January 8th-11th between the hours of 8am-6pm.

Abandoned property Notice:
Graduates and Non-returning students for Fall Semester: Any student property that is left behind beyond the residency contract dates is subject to being considered abandoned by the student. In cases where (non returning/graduating) students abandon property at the end of the semester the University will dispose of the property.
